High Strength Grades: HS40 – 70
High strength silicone rubber applications
Our high strength grades of Silicone Rubber have excellent tear strength properties, making them suitable for complex extruded profiles and mouldings. They are suitable for a wide range of uses including tubing and seals for the pharmaceutical, and food and drink industries (F.D.A and W.R.C approved*), silicone rubber components within aerospace and rail and other mass transit applications, and can be supplied pigmented or transparent.
Their physical properties include:
- Temperature range -65°C to 200°C
- Heat stabilised parts can withstand short term exposure between 250° C – 300°C
