Inflatable Rubber Seals

Advanced Materials has over 30 years’ experience in inflatable rubber seals, also known as pneumatic rubber seals, manufacturing.

Pneumatic rubber seals are an effective method of sealing between parts which move in relation to each other.

Compressed air can be used to inflate the seals and the pressure can be controlled to regulate the force the seal applies. Our seals have a working pressure of up to 4 bar.

Our in-house design capabilities make creating an inflatable rubber seal that fits your exact requirements simple. Our process is kept as straightforward as possible to enable a smooth progression from seal design to manufacture.

Keeping the process in house means we keep every step consistent starting with using 2D and 3D software to get the profile design exact.  We then manufacture the profile extrusion to meet the tight tolerances required and matching it exactly to our joining/moulding presses to form an airtight seal that lasts.
