Here at Advanced Materials Ltd we have developed our own unique joining system for silicone rubber joined gaskets and seals. Our vulcanisation technique enables us to join complex, as well as simple, extrusions into rings and mitered corners using the same material for the joint as the extrusion. Using this technique we can create

This gives a uniform component and an almost invisible join, as demonstrated in the examples below:
The 3D images below have been created to illustrate how an extrusion will form when joined into rings. The shape and developed length of the profile will control how the ring will freely sit.

We are able to turn around new tooling quickly using our cad/cam technology; & our specialist engineers are able to create new extrusion designs & samples in 7 – 10 days depending on the complexity.
