Happy New Year! After a fantastic festive period we can’t wait to get started on all the exciting developments which are coming up at Advanced Materials in 2018.
All of the projects have been carefully designed to add to our continuing success as a leading silicone rubber extrusion manufacturer and to help us improve our service to customers even more.
So, to give you a taster of what lies ahead for us, here are just some of the things to look out for over the next few months:
Extra space to meet growing demand
At our HQ in Littlehampton, West Sussex, we are in the process of creating three new specialist areas which will increase our production capabilities within our core product range; extrusion, joining and gasket cutting, also adding an inflatable seal division to dedicate to our growing inflatable seal manufacturing capabilities.
The areas will be split into different departments; the first being for small extrusion and dedicated SAB application, the second designed for manufacturing specialist inflatable seals, while the third will be dedicated to cutting and joining operations.
Ultimately, this will give us further capacity to meet growing demand for our silicone products and keep to our vision of high quality and low lead time manufacture of Silicone Sealing Technologies.
Exciting new products to benefit our customers
The next few months will also see a series of new product launches, which will include the following:
- Our Food Grade Sponge (FGS) & FGS + metal powder have been independently tested for FDA conformity. This unique material within the silicone sponge market offers excellent food quality and compression capabilities.
- We have our most advanced silicone grade FR70R independently tested for determination of the flammability of an aircraft material according to “FAR 25.853(A)-App. F Part I”. We are proud to say that meeting these specifications means we are able to provide high end silicone sealing technology for strict industries such as automotive, mass transit and aerospace.
- Advanced inflatable sealing technology will enable us to provide everything in-house for our customers, including design, extrusion, joining, moulding, testing and test certificates for silicone inflatable seals.
Ordering just got even easier!
In addition to our plans for expansion and new product launches, we have updated our systems, to make the whole online ordering process even easier.
This means that customers can now easily, quickly and efficiently get quotations for smaller quantities of our standard products, any time. Account customers will also have the option to use their accounts to obtain quotations and place new / recurring orders without the need for time consuming telephone or email correspondence; (however, we are always here to offer customer service through phone and email when needed).
