Chemically resistant fluorosilicone extrusions

Military environments involve exposure to a wide array of chemicals, fuels and lubricants. Our chemically resistant fluorosilicone extrusions are designed to withstand these harsh substances without degradation.

We use fluorosilicone rubber (FSE50-70) in our extrusion manufacturing process to ensure exceptional resistance to intensive environments, chemicals and extreme temperatures, making it an ideal choice for military applications where reliable performance is non-negotiable.

Due to its unique properties, flurosilcone is commonly used in aerospace applications for fuel system seals, O-rings, gaskets, and other components exposed to fuels and oils. It is also used in the military vehicles for fuel system components and in a variety of industrial applications where chemical resistance is required.

Fluorosilicone offers excellent resistance to weathering, ozone exposure, UV radiation, and ageing, ensuring long-lasting performance and durability in outdoor and tougher environmental conditions. Like standard silicone rubber, fluorosilicone maintains its flexibility and performance across a wide temperature range, typically from -60°C to +200°C, making it suitable for extreme temperature environments.

Flame retardant silicone extrusions

We provide the complete FR-range of silicone rubber for manufacturing extrusions tailored to the needs of the military and defence industry. This includes:

FR70R - widely accepted for its exceptional low toxicity and low smoke density properties.
FR40SB2, FR50SB2, FR60SB2 and FR70SB2 - typically used in product designs where none of the superior properties of FR70R are required, and are the most economical solution.

We are also willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement as required.
