Silicone Sponge Grades: SS16,SS24,SS33
General Properties
Resistant to ultra-violet light, corona, arcing and ozone.
Excellent for vibration damping and for protecting and cushioning components.
Excellent chemical resistance (but not suitable for use with many solvents, oils or concentrated acids).
Low degree of moisture absorption, therefore the mechanical properties show little change, even after prolonged periods of immersion.
Thermal conductivity: mean average after test = 0.0695 w/(m.k.)
Not recommended for long term service where steam pressure exceeds 50 psi.
Temperature tolerance from -60° C to + 200° C.
